A message from the General Secretary
Benoit De Waegeneer

In 2024, Humundi celebrated 60 years of commitment to a fairer food future. Sixty years of active solidarity, deeply rooted projects, and farmer-led innovation. This milestone year was an opportunity to reaffirm our direction: in the face of crises, strengthen cooperation — even in the most fragile contexts — and build resilient food systems grounded in agroecology. Across our work in Africa, Latin America, and Belgium, one common thread runs through it all: cultivating a more equitable world, together with those who, every day, make food more dignified and accessible for all.
